About Me

I've spent over twenty years working in recruitment and human resources across manufacturing, successfully executing recruitment campaigns for some of Australia’s and New Zealand’s largest organisations.

Through my co-ownership of Bug & Bun, a small-batch fragrance manufacturing business, I have gained invaluable, hands-on experience in various aspects of the manufacturing process, such as navigating import and export regulations, ensuring procurement processes, and maintaining compliance with labelling and packaging standards, as well as adhering to APVMA regulations.

This practical knowledge has deepened my understanding of the intricacies involved in the manufacturing sector.

In 2016, I founded QAR (Quality Assured Recruitment) entirely on my own, starting from the ground up.


Over the course of four years, I expanded the business, growing to a team of four dedicated recruitment consultants.


Eventually, a large Australian recruitment firm took notice and approached me, leading to the purchase of QAR—a milestone I’m incredibly proud of.

The Problem

While this was a significant achievement, it also marked the beginning of my realisation that the corporate recruitment approach to recruitment didn’t fully align with my vision or values.


The way I wanted to approach recruitment—focusing on genuine relationships, tailored processes, and long-term outcomes—wasn’t in alignment with the environment I found myself in.


It became clear that larger corporate structures often prioritised internal targets and rigid processes over truly understanding and serving both clients and candidates. That’s when I knew I needed to make a change.

The Solution

In mid-2024, I co-founded mfg. Talent Partners alongside our Marketing Director, Luana Howard, and Senior Advisory Partner, Danny Boyle. 

We were frustrated by agencies prioritising corporate structures and targets over real client and candidate needs. We wanted to do things differently.

Our focus is on highly specialised, tailored recruitment solutions—without the unnecessary layers. Clients and candidates always come first.

Finally, we facilitate the signing of the employment contract, creating a seamless transition into the new role for both parties and ensuring satisfaction on both sides.
